[attr="class","dupertext"]My first Burger was a weird thing. I had just pulled myself out of the spirit world ya see, and it was in some dingy alley in Hong Kong. This old lady that worked to situate us spirit folk was there, and gave me money. Luckily I knew the language, and she told me to get a burger, they were cheap. So I toddled to this place with a giant neon yellow sign, and asked for a burger. I got a combo I guess, and it was cheap surprisingly. And then I took a bite out of it. It was so good in my mouth, you wouldn't understand. It was the first time I've had meat in centuries. Not like the flesh of a holy man sure, but it was DAMN good.
[attr="class","dupertext"]Bai, named Kwan Bai after the lady that took her in, a 'youkai' of chinese origins. Obviously the clue is in her name, which relates to Baigujing, a shape-shifting white skeleton. She was one of the various underlings that came as variations later on of this chinese demon. She lived in the world around five hundred years ago or more, guarding a mountain gate before a foreign exorcist shoved her back into the spirit world. She's held a grudge against that foreign family since, but decided to enjoy her time in the spirit world as best as she could.
Arriving back in the human world was a pain, considering her power totally was halved. She had trouble putting up a human look even, but luckily her natural power was that of shape shifting. Unfortunately, she is only able to keep close to her original human structure, considering her bones are quite massive. In either case, she lived in Hong Kong for quite some time, before heading over to Japan, traveling over the country out of curiosity. She had a decent grip of japanese at some point, and then she found herself in the City of Nazo.
Needless to say, she never left because the bouncer job at that one club was too good to pass up. Plus, the traces of the family she was hunting ended up here... so she might find them here too.
