I was a simple martial artist, searching for strong people to fight. He was a Monk, and I challenged him, figuring I could use the fight to sharpen my skills. And yet he defeated me, as if it was child's play. I came back every day for a year, until I finally beat him. That day, he proposed to me, and we got married a week later. Apparently, he had already done all of the courting and I was just too thick to notice it. That rock, and that tree, holds many other memories for me.
[attr="class","dupertext"]A terrifying woman that married into the Himura family, Kimiko is known for her intense physical strength. It is said her birth family ran a dojo, and the addition of one to the shrine possibly proves this fact. When her husband died, she took control of her family, and became it's head, refusing to marry herself to another family. She is intensely loyal when someone gains her loyalty, and is known to terrorize her daughter's love interests. She automatically assumes to do this with Yumeko, despite her not having shown signs of this yet.
The death of her husband had affected her severely, as the woman launched herself into a harsh regimen. Only her daughter Aimiko managed to pull her out of a downward spiral. Since then she's stabilized for the most part, and turned to work with the Yamazaki family, their Head Clan. Amongst their exorcists, she's known for her particular style of actually going to physically fight the youkai, using spirit tags or spell tags to enhance her hits, and sometimes not even using these.
She holds a firm grasp of vengeance for her beloved, trying to hunt the youkai that did him in for the sake of her family.
