[attr="class","dupertext"]Rido's most defining memory is the moment when he first stepped into a voice acting booth. He had voiced before, but it was never professionally done - he had always had substandard equipment, something that had given him a bit more freedom to act up and be more animated. At first, he hesitated, afraid that it was all a dream... but the moment that he looked down at the script that he had long since memorized, the fear choking his throat eased a little and he soon found himself bouncing around in the booth in character, laughing and yelling and bringing himself to tears on command. Before he knew it, he'd managed to do an entire session almost perfectly, and the few mistakes he'd made were better than the originals and adopted. The pride he felt on the inside when viewing the episode fully done with no editing done on his parts was enough to make him emotional enough to excuse himself from the room so that he could properly express his delight.
[attr="class","dupertext"]Rido's childhood was ordinary in almost every way. His parents, a nurse and a lawyer, were busy day in and day out, and for him, it was a loving, happy marriage. His parents were soulmates, and although they had their fights, they always came back together for Rido. He wasn't pampered or spoiled but he wasn't neglected either. Really, there isn't a whole lot to note in his early years. Even his discipline record is free of most notes save a few when, as a younger child, he would take a stick and defend the kids with it by going after bullies, a product of his father's firm stance on justice. Katana lessons taught him when to use weapons and when words were better, but he always loved playing with younger and weaker kids, often viewed as the "eccentric" for being willing to play the role of a knight or a dragon for the kids.
That was where it began, his love for acting and theater. He was friendly, charming, polite... a perfect gentleman, to be honest. Maybe that was why, when he and his drama friends got together and started doing improv, it was something that prompted them to think of it. They picked up an American series with bad dubbing and, in a moment of ingenuity, they began fansubbing it online. What no one expected was that their web series would become popular enough to attract the attention of the company who, desperate with dwindling funds, hired the teens to finish out the series.
Rido was reluctant at first. He had done it to be with his friends, not to be famous. But with some wheedling from his friends, he agreed... and from there, he fell in love with the business. When the first series finished, he started voicing another... and then when that series was over, his first producer contacted him. He'd fallen in love with the way that Rido would act with his whole body when he voiced, not just his voice... and so he wanted to take the boy on for his new project, Crimson Dreams Academy, a real life acting experience. With some encouragement from his parents, he accepted the role... despite the fact that, in recent years, something hasn't seemed quite right in Nazo, to the point where he's begun taking a leaf out of his father's book and investigating the oddities on his own time...
