I remember little Yumeko crying sometimes, and me trying to shush her. I remember Okaasama's stony cold face, and I remember that look in her eyes, the fury that seemed to live in them. She scared me with that. I knew that, I wasn't like Okaasama. I was more like him. So I knew then that I would have to be the counter-weight to my mother, despite only being seven years old. I was ready to do what I could, because I remembered Otousama's last words to me. 'Take care of your mother.' So when I went to the altar and prayed, I whispered to him my answer, that I would.
[attr="class","dupertext"]Aimiko has a little sister, named Yumeko that she semi-dotes on. She doesn't want her little sister to follow her path into the Himura Branch, and often tries to convince that no, it is not a good idea to train in the exorcist arts. As the Himura Branch is connected to the Yamazaki family, Aimiko's mother often goes to meetings, and sometimes brings her as well, due to Aimiko being the next head of their family, as she was the oldest.
Aimiko is rather proficient in spell tags and spirit tags, having a great well of spiritual energy and flexibility of mind to apply this. Although she's a bit lacking in the physical department, she's already begun creating her own spell tags, in order to advance the family's art further. Her school grades were not perfect, but still in a good margin, so she graduated from high school. She's currently apprenticed to her mother's agency, which is of course, associated to the Yamazaki Clan. She has a few cases under her belt, but nothing big, as she's still learning all of the ropes needed to become a full fledged investigator.
She's a dutiful sister however, as the family lives in a small shrine near the South edge of town. The shrine doesn't have a specific deity attached to it, however it is said that there is a deity that inhabits the shrine. Although, Aimiko's mother would know more then herself, as she has not been allowed to do more then the cleaning and certain things, as she is also training to take over the shrine someday.
